What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound found primarily in the flower and leaves of the hemp plant, different from the marijuana plant. CBD's powerful effects occur through its interaction with our natural endocannaboidnoid system (ECS) found within the body. Specifically the CB1 and CB2 receptors which are responsible for brain (CB1), immune and gastrointestinal (CB2) systems.  Studies show the ECS can help regulate anti-inflammatory response, immune system, appetite, mood, anxiety levels, sleep schedule and more. Basically, the ECS helps keep your body in homeostasis.

CBD can be found in many different forms such as oils, edibles, patches, topicals and more!

"In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential.... To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD" (World Health Organization)
